and what I am passionate about. Art is a big part of my life and my journey. I attended an art high school called JMW
(Jacqueline M. Walsh School for the Performing and Visual Arts). I am actually the first graduating class
and am planning our 10 year reunion. I sometimes also write poetry...
There is a lot to me that I don't show to everyone. I guess my "branding" was always fashion.
I told myself in high school that I wanted people to link Liz with Fashion.
I wanted it to be the first thing they thought of, and it is.
Now that I am established in my career and my blog I want to show other layers to who I am,
which is my passion for art, astronomy, poetry, nature, and landscapes. I love rock formations. I think they are so beautiful...
This painting took me four years to complete.
As a child I used to lay awake at night researching all the places I wanted to see before I die.
One of these is the Palouse Falls. I have many passions, one being astronomy.
It would be breathtaking to view the Milky Way without light pollution.
This painting means a lot to me.
I have grown so much from the beginning of this piece, when I only had the bones and first specs of color.
I was codependent in my relationship at that time and it was unhealthy.I couldn’t find happiness without him.
As I layered on the colors I endured different experiences and learned many life lessons.
It took me years to be happy with myself, by myself. I built my career, traveled the world, and learned a lot.
I know who I am without the influence of someone else and it feels so good.
It built the strong person I am today. It is the end of a chapter and the beginning of a new one.
There are many ways that I find happiness and one is through embracing the beauty of nature.
I love to spend days by the ocean on a cliff, gazing out at the mother nature’s masterpiece.
I hope my art inspires people to go outside and explore.
There is so much beauty in the soft noises of nature.
We live our busy lives disconnected from the earth with goals of infinite wealth and growth on a finite planet.
Take care of Mother Earth.
How do you find happiness?
