Fashion Week in New York was such a great experience and also a part of my PR job. I attended a lot of shows and events including Philipp Plein, the Hong Kong After Party, Chromat, Concept Korea After Party, Romeo Hunte, Vivienne Hu & Tibi. I attended some shows and went to brunch with my stylist friend Shannon Campbell and even met Phaedra Parks! Scroll down to see highlights from my favorite shows. T I B I The runway video was so well done that I decided to include it in lieu of photos. Tibi's looks were very airy for a F/W collection which was refreshing. I loved the way the pieces glided down the runway. My favorite look was the black floor length dress with silver sequin accents on the chest and neckline area. Celebrities in attendance include: Olivia Palermo, Ashleigh Murray and Ashleigh Murray. P H I L I P P P L E I N What a show. This was one of the most anticipated runway shows all week. Philipp Plein always goes big with his events. This time he had fake snow falling and Migos performing before the runway show. There was even a robot that walked the debut model Irina Shayk down the runway. There were a range of mens and womenswear looks from colorful furs to "blade runner" all spandex suits. The right picture showcases a gown with a clear jacket over it. It is an interesting look that I haven't seen before. Celebrities in attendance include: Kate Upton, Victoria Justice, Irina Shayk, Sofia Resing, Teyana Taylor, Shanina Shaik, Justin Dior Combs and Jackie Cruz. V I V I E N N E H U Vivienne Hu has a way of incorporating fur in interesting ways with her F/W collections whether it be fur pockets or sleeve accents. These two are great sellable pieces for the fall. I loved the olive color choice with accents of fur and feathers. Hu has a way of keeping classic looks interesting. Celebrities in attendance included Stassi Schroeder and Miss Universe Demi-Leigh. T A D A S H I S H O J I Tadashi was such a great show. Out of the collection I really enjoyed these above two looks. The piece on the right is what I call a "midnight dream". I LOVE this type of dress. I think it is so ethereal and powerful at the same time. The dress on the left has a high slit, which I love wearing, and one shoulder accent. I liked that it showed enough leg and then was more conservative on the top half of the piece. I thought the ribber fabric choice was an interesting accent for these two looks. S O N J U N G W A N How fun was this collection? It was a party on the runway for Son Jung Wan filled with fur, ruffles and fishnets. I think the accent of jewels on fishnets was a nice touch I haven't seen before. These two above looks stood out to me during the runway show. I especially like the fur coat in the right look. I have been seeing a decent amount of fur capes and wraps sometimes worn with a belt to secure it. Definitely a new trend for next fall. At this show I met Gizelle Bryant from the Real Housewives of Potomac. She was super sweet! C H R O M A T Chromat! One of my favorite designers went full swim and active wear for this collection. Chromat is a body conscience brand that promotes a diverse range of models including plus size. There was even a live performance mid way through the show. These above styles are my favorite pieces from the collection. I like the sheer accents featured the blue one-piece bathing suit. The seams accentuate the suit making it even more flattering. I also liked the two tone piece with black accents. This also gives it a figure illusion. xXx
