Goodbye 2017, Hello 2018!
Reflecting back on my year I accomplished a lot work and travel wise. I clearly like to keep myself busy.
I am so grateful to have a job that I truly love and am passionate about.
Being a publicist is not easy, but I absolutely adore it.
I told myself I would go all in and put 110% effort into getting more press for Kent.

Long Lasting Nails by Liz from Gel Essentialz Salon

The Experience

I got my nails done about a week and a half ago by Elizabeth Holmes DeChristopher at Gel Essentialz in Cranston and what the experience! Gel Essentialz is known as the best nail salon in the North East area for so many reasons. First off they are top of the line for cuticle care which is key to long lasting and strong nails. Before my experience at this salon I would only get my nails done a few times a year, usually during fashion week and when I traveled. This is because they would last a maximum of 1 week before peeling near the cuticles. I went to a range of different places, even in NYC, and thought it was just my "oily nail beds". Little did I know it had to do less with my nail beds and more with the quality of the salon and the Nail Technicians. Nail artistry is a passion of all the girls that work at Gel Essentialz and with that comes high quality nails. Liz's techniques involve excellent cuticle care, properly curing the nails, and using top notch gel polish. It is essential to keep your nails and nail beds clean before getting a gel manicure, which I had no idea until Liz told me! I washed my hands thoroughly under lukewarm water. I then proceeded to picking out the look I wanted for my winter blog shoots and holiday parties. Some of the recent nail trends include ombre, chrome, iced out and simple solid colored nails. I loved the iced out look Liz has done so I chose that with a pink base color called Flirt from Akzentz's LUXIO Flirt Series. This high quality gel polish helps liz create a Euro Manicure for her clients which extends the wear of the nails to approximately 3-4 weeks. Liz paints one gel nail at a time and rotates hands to paint the other while it cures in the nail lamp. This clever technique helps the polish last extremely long and keeps the nails stronger. After one and a half weeks of wear my nails still look freshly painted and have barely shown growth. I am so happy with the results. Liz is my favorite Nail Technician and I highly recommend her. A Little Bit of Luxe

Merry almost Christmas!
I have been living in NYC for the past month and a half
working the Grand Central Holiday Show for handbag designer Kent Stetson.
It has been a great experience and we sold a ton of product.
We were even featured in the NY Post!
My Kent Stetson Chain Reaction clutch featured above is limited and only available by special request.
While in NYC I attended some fashion events and exhibits.
Although I love living my life on the go, it has been nice to finally be back and relax a bit.

I never overdo my jewelry but I do enjoy adding a little bit of luxe to my outfits.
Whiting and Davis has lovely, classic pieces that will make your holiday outfit pop.
My favorite collection of theirs featured in this look is called On the Rocks.
The pieces are designed in collaboration with Swarovski.

Gucci Waist Belt $245
Currently trending - the Gucci belt. If you check your explore page you'll see tons of fashionistas wearing Gucci belts to spice up their outfits. I love this lavender color for the spring and summer months.

Wenger Urban Donnissima White Watch $195
Another style by Wenger that I love is this winter white and gold timepiece. The four crystal hour markers are a beautiful compliment to the design. Created with high scratch resistance and sapphire coated mineral crystal. The bracelet featured is a white fabric strap. Like the gold mesh style, this watch can be worn with an array of different styles. The white pops to compliment a sophisticated look. Wenger utilizes high-quality materials and even includes a three-year warranty!

Kent Stetson Splash Clutch $198
This is my favorite print by Kent Stetson and the first one I purchased. It is a classic and can pop with black, white, or a range of different solid colors. I love wearing this out on the town and makes for a fun holiday gift for a fashionista. It is the signature style from Kent's collection that holds more than just your out-on-the-town essentials. This bag holds the story of how Kent started his line 15 years ago with cutting up his graphic art painting and sewing it into a handbag. This piece comes with a chain, hangtag, logo dust bag and is signed by the designer on the inside pocket.

Chanel Chance Eau Trendre Travel Set $130
You can't go wrong with a Chanel fragrance gift set. This is a decidedly young scent in a constellation of tender and airy notes. It is at once delicate and radiant with an intoxicatingly light, floral trail. This delicate pairing expresses a romantic harmony of grapefruit, quince, jasmine and white musk. This edgy and feminine pencil skirt with matching cropped tank over our ultra soft jersey cropped T-Shirt is perfect for any event or occasion. Can be purchased as a three piece set or individually. Pieces for purchase are a sample size 2. Other sizes available by request. I loved seeing this piece down the runway. It was one of my favorites from Bianca's elegant collection. All of her pieces are handmade, including even the small details such as the ceramic buttons! I love the floral appliqué accents on this piece. A great gift for the chic and fun fashionista.

Elaine, owner of Feminine Fancies Boutique, features top fashion pieces for all ages. One of my favorite pieces from her online store is this Gracia Ruffle Top. I love the sheer sleeve with ruffle accents. This piece is a great gift idea because it is flattering on most body types and is appropriate for multiple age groups.

I have been wearing this perfume for about 7 years now. This set is a $136 value.

The Louis Vuitton Exhibit

If you are planning a trip to NYC this winter I advise you check out
the Louis Vuitton "Volez, Voguez, Voyagez" Exhibit.
So much eye candy. It was so great, I attended twice.
Curated by Olivier Saillard, the designs featured include pieces from 1854 to present day.
The exhibit is held at the American Stock Exchange Building
in lower Manhattan and runs through January 7th.
The last room was my favorite which displays designer
pieces worn on the red carpet by celebrities.
