Tell me a little about yourself. Born and raised in Weston, CT and currently a Senior at the University of Connecticut studying Communications. I got my first job in public relations when I was in high school and have always followed fashion in hopes of working in PR for the industry. What is your style? Comfortable and trendy. I love wearing heels, but am 5'10 so you may catch me pairing flat boots with dresses to accomplish a polished, yet laid-back look. Comfort is always key. Today I'm taking advantage of this sweater weather with a cobalt asymmetric Patterson J. Kinkaid piece, Zara leggings and leopard loafers. What items have been a fashion staple for you this season? Fall is undoubtedly my favorite season because I can exercise my layering abilities! Lately I've been getting the most use out of my cream cable knit Topshop sweater and knee-high BCBG riding boots. Who are your fashion inspirations? Street style bloggers and fashion editors. I scan Lookbook.nu every morning for styling tips from girls around the world but love Instagram and Twitter accounts by Eva Chen and Aliza Licht. What are your favorite stores? Every girl in fashion has an appreciation for designer brands, but let's be honest, a 21-year-old college student is not likely to be sporting a Donna Karan shift dress. To get on-trend pieces I love Loehmann's, but also have a weakness for Topshop, Zara, H&M, and LF. If you could have one fashion item from any designer what would it be? An Hermes Birkin in black. It's my "winning at life" piece. What was your best fashion find? Something I've had for almost five years (and still looks like new) is my Marc Jacobs Petal to the Metal crossbody. It's roomy enough to fit my iPad and notebooks and the perfect accessory for any fall outfit. Plus, the doves are adorable! I get so many compliments. Favorite store or place to shop at in NYC? Topshop is heaven. Every time I go to the city, I have to make a trip. Favorite place to go out and show your style in NYC? New York is magical because you can wear practically anything and get away with it. But there's nothing better than getting dressed up and showing off your GNO(Girl's Night Out) outfit at Bagatelle or the Gansevoort. Favorite accessories and shoes? Thanks to my summer transformation, I'm hardcore into fitness. I bought a Nike Fuelband and love tracking my steps while sporting a fashionable armband. I layer my gold Michael Kors men's style watch, a gold spiked bracelet and a few bracelets to dress up the unisex band. For shoes, it's all about the boots. I love my leather BCBG riding boots, but will always have a love for the classic New England look with Sperry Top Sider's.
