- Carrie Bradshaw, Sex And The City
It is that time of year again & I leave for NYFW tomorrow!
I am beyond excited to start my marathon of events & networking.
I have some cool, new bags that Kent is having me showcase with my looks.
I truly love my job. I am going to fashion week for work. #jobgoals
On top of this I have a HUGE announcement . . .
. . . I am going to Paris, for fashion week! PARIS! I received invites and couldn't say no.
I am attending with my bestie/fashion writer Kaleigh Guay.
Yes, I am going to Paris for a long weekend in March. This is now normal for me.
I guess I am a jet-setter. Adventure, check! Exploring culture, check! Attending events, check!
My life has been crazy busy thus far with 2018 plans.
I just got back from New Orleans (post coming soon), am off to NYFW,
working at Styleweek end of February and flying out for Paris Fashion Week in early March.
I am busy a lot but, I love it. Wouldn't trade it for the world.
I have truly built the life I've always dreamed of.
I am so happy.
In this post I am wearing a vintage Burberry dress I was gifted from my Great Aunt.
There is something so precious about the clothing I am gifted from her.
Aside from the designer label, you can see the impeccable craftsmanship on this piece and how it has lasted all these years.
Another piece I love from this look is my Wenger watch from the Urban Donnissima Collection.
It pops in contrast to the vintage dress. A great attribute to the design is it's versatility.
It can be dressed up or down and added to most of my wardrobe. The style is also timeless (pun intended).
Also, it is a Swiss made designer watch at a fraction of the cost, only$195!
You don't have to spend a lot of money to look good.
Set goals this 2018 and make strides to achieve them.
Cheers!
xXx
