My 2019 HighlightsIt has been a little over 6 years since I started my blog. I was in a different stage in my life back then. I was just about to graduate college and enter the work force. Back then is when I really started to build the dream, a career in fashion . . .
My City Life ExperienceLiving in NYC during the holidays is fun and hectic all at the same time. We do a TON of sales during this period, but it can be exhausting. I enjoy my job so much! We did RECORD sales this year. Even though the show was 6 days shorter, I still managed to do more in sales . . .
Life's a JungleBe Fierce, Life's a Jungle . . . The biggest trend this season is animal print. I especially love snakeskin. This faux snakeskin jacket is from Feminine Fancies Boutique in Barrington, RI. I paired this jacket with aviators from MVMT . . .
The Downtown ClassicI love that I grew up in Rhode Island. We have a mixture of city, beach, suburbs, and farm land. There is something so warming about living in a small town/state/city. Aside from the fact that "everybody knows each other" there is a sense . . .
Making a StatementI have a fashion statement to make. If I invest in a piece, I want to wear it more than once. Labeling that person as an "outfit repeater" is just wrong. We over-consume (everything really) as Americans, especially in the fashion industry . . .
Smile BrilliantHello my fellow viewers! Today I am introducing to you the cariPRO™ Ultrasonic Toothbrush by Smile Brilliant. This toothbrush is made to keeping those pearly whites shinning at an affordable cost. This electric toothbrush creates . . .
Pleats&Patterns&Bags,Oh My!Sometimes I find inspiration in the most odd places, like this broken down gas station in the boonies of little Rhode Island. There is just something so saw about destruction, it fascinates me as an artist. I thought it was a great spot for this photoshoot . . .
NashvilleNashville was such a fun trip! It was Matt and I's first plane ride together. Although short, it was a milestone for us. Yes we have finally become that disgustingly adorable couple you see in the rom-coms. Anyways, we had a blast riding bulls . . .

NYFW SS20 RecapThe thrills, the rush, the fashion . . . all condensed into a roller coaster of a week. I am so thankful to have this as part of my job at Kent Stetson Handbags. This season is SS20 (meaning spring and summer 2020) I saw a lot of patterns, animal print, cascading ruffles, belts, sheer accents, and . . .

The Kent Stetson Pop-UpHow time flies. I have been working at Kent Stetson Handbags for almost 6 years now (collectively). I am really happy to be a publicist and work in sales for this growing company. It is so cool to see everything come to fruition right there in the studio. If you aren't aware, our studio operates as a shop and a manufacturing space . . .
Portland, MaineAs you all know by now, I love traveling and Portland is one of those charming New England cities you have to visit. It is an easy weekend trip since I live in the Providence area, only about 3 hours and 15 minutes away. My sister Jacquie lives there, so she gave us the grand tour. We started at Shipyard Brewery . . .

St. Germain StudioOn the Wednesday evening before StyleWeek I got glammed up at St. Germain Studio. I walked down the cobblestone pathway to the chic purple salon, adorned in vines. I was greeted by the owner, Tom St. Germain, with a lovely glass of red wine (my favorite). When you have an appointment here, you at treated like gold. You are greeted with complimentary tea, coffee, wine, and even beer . . .
Cape Cod CellarsSo if you know me, you know I LOVE wine, especially red wine. I was so excited when Cape Cod Cellars reached out to me to do a blog collaboration. I did this collaboration with my blonde bombshell bestie Lauren. She works as the Supervisor for the Kids Division at the TJX corporate office. Cape Cod Cellars was founded in 2005 by Timothy Cooney. His family started buying wine under its own brand . . .

The Ritz Experience The Ritz-Carlton was quite the experience. Gelato in the lobby, special bourbon at dinner time, private beach, marble bathrooms, huge closets, & drinks by the pool . . . My dad had a business trip with the hospital he works at in Atlanta, so the McLaughlin family ventured to Amelia Island in Florida to meet up with him . . .
Happy Housiversary! So I have officially been a homeowner for a little over a year now! I celebrated my 1 year housiversary party with close friends, bbq, & lawn games. Being a homeowner is a lot of work, but very rewarding. I redesigned my backyard by adding flowers and plants around the perimeter in front of the fence. I also made a "secret" garden next to my shed where an old tree stump was formerly an eyesore . . .
A New York MinuteNYC has become my second home and my frequent place of work. Aside from NYFW I also am there for some trade shows and other events such as the Grand Central Holiday Fair. I have formed a really great fashion friend group there so it is also nice to go visit for fun when I can . . .

Days by the OceanI moved around a bit when I was younger, mostly North and South on the East Coast.
I was born and mainly raised in Rhode Island since I was about 10. I truly love being a New Englander. Aside from the snowstorms, I enjoy having all 4 seasons. The summers are obviously my favorite . . . |
The JourneyI know I mostly post about fashion and the fun events I attend but there are many layers to who I am and what I am passionate about. Art is a big part of my life and my journey. I attended an art high school called JMW (Jacqueline M. Walsh School for the Performing and Visual Arts). I am actually the first graduating class and am planning our 10 year reunion. I sometimes also write poetry... There is a lot to me that I don't show to everyone. I guess my "branding" was always fashion . . .

Paris Fashion Week FW19It is a magical moment getting invited to Paris Fashion Week for the second year in a row. I am so grateful for the journey I took in life to get me to this point. I feel so happy in my home and work life. I am a true believer in living with passion. If you give positive vibes to the universe it will come back to you. I have worked so hard to get to this point . . .

Lace & the CityOne of the best things about being in the big apple is having the opportunity to model. My favorite modeling gig this past year has been with Leg Avenue, a lingerie company. It was shot by my NYC fashion photographer, Pedro Vazquez . . .
My 2018 Highlights2018 was a very big year for me. I was told that at 26 & 27 you know what you want out of life. You are finally established in your career and have your goals in sight ready to be tackled. You know what you want and know how to get it. This was very true for me. My year started with the excitement of New Orleans. . . .

Run Away With MeHappy October! Below is some poetry I dug up from 15 years ago . . . In this world of thorns and roses, Deception creates reality's balance. Here lays a cup stemmed from overflowing greed, Rather cage the birds than watch it fly. In this form claimed to know well, Uncertainty shadows, With all the strong gusts and soft breezes . . .

Living in the Golden HourWhat I love to do after work during the week is host a picnic by the water with a nice bottle of Rosé. India Point Park is a close spot for me so it is usually my go to.
I do however picnic a lot by the cliffs in Newport on the weekends when I . . . |
My Parisian AdventureParis was a dream come true. Although my trip was short, I enjoyed every minute of it. My main reason for traveling to Paris during March was for Paris Fashion Week. The temperature was surprising not too cold, about in the 50's. I stayed at the Hotel Beaurepaire which is a boutique hotel just an uber ride to the city center . . .
