to me to do a blog collaboration. I did this collaboration with my blonde bombshell bestie Lauren.
She works as the Supervisor for the Kids Division at the TJX corporate office.
Cape Cod Cellars was founded in 2005 by Timothy Cooney. His family started buying wine under its own brand.
"Each year, we taste wines from all over the world that we feel reflect the spirit,
taste and qualities of the Cape, Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard."
Cape Cod Cellars does not just sell wine, they also have a collection of styles ranging from preppy polos to silk scarfs.

Wines
My favorite bottle from the case of wine was the Cabernet. It was absolutely delicious! I actually do not
usually drink Merlot, so when I tried the Cape Cod Cellar's Nantucket Red I was surprised at how much I liked it.
It was very smooth with a peppery taste. The white wines were delicious as well. I paired them with seafood dishes.
The Pinque Pinot Grigio was my favorite with a crisp and refreshing taste.
Nantucket Red Merlot
"The bright berry flavors and spiciness which originates from our prime Santa Maria vineyard have resulted in
a fruit forward and eminently drinkable Merlot. After aging the wine in 60-gallon French oak
barrels for 12 months, this wine has a deliberate merlot structure with proper
amounts of tannins and viscosity. This 2016 merlot is showing beautifully
now and will age nicely over the next 3-5 years."
Chatham Chardonnay
"Homestead fruit from 30+ year-old vines in the cool microclimate of the Monterey
region has yielded a quintessential Monterey Chardonnay – as we have produced since 1978.
The wine shows rich, tropical fruit aromas and ripe varietal flavors that are balanced by the crisp acidity prized by wineries throughout the state. The wine is aged 2 months in French Oak barrels."
Pinque Pinot Grigio
"Hot summers along the Sacramento River inspired this 2017 Pinot Grigio from our
vineyard located in Clarksburg. Clarksburg sits beside the Sacramento River Delta,
and our Pinot Grigio is a perfectly refreshing wine to complement this region, which frequently reaches 100-degree weather
all summer long. Our Pinot Grigio shows pear and apple flavors, and an alluring citrus finish.
This wine was aged eight months in sixty-gallon stainless steel tanks. This Pinot Grigio shows beautifully now
and will continue to develop over the next 3-5 years."
Chatham Cabernet
"The mature berry flavors and spiciness which originates from our prime Paso Robles vineyards have resulted
in a fruit forward and eminently drinkable Cabernet Sauvignon. After aging in 60-gallon
American oak barrels for 8 months, this wine has a deliberate cabernet structure with proper
amounts of tannins and viscosity. This Cabernet Sauvignon is showing beautifully now
and will age nicely over the next 3-5 years."

Apparel
My favorite pieces from the Cape Cod Cellars apparel collection were
the luxurious gold scarf, salmon colored long sleeve shirt and silver pendant necklace.
I love the preppy styles, it is perfect for New Englanders.
I often spend my summers by the ocean in Newport, so these pieces are wardrobe staples.
