It is in your hands. Be the movement you want to see flow throughout the world. The world is not necessarily an easy place to live, but we can make it a little better by spreading kindness and light to the people around us. Even when it gets hard, remember that positive things can come from negative situations. Always have hope. Much love. xXx Liz

Hey fashionistas! I attended the Pamella Roland launch party at the Lord & Taylor's flagship store in NYC. Pamella Roland's designs have been worn by various A-list celebrities including Eva Longoria, Halle Berry and Kristen Bell. Pamella. Pamella Roland's new sexy, sophisticated contemporary line is targeted to a larger audience with dress prices ranging from $500-1000. Although her prices are greatly cheaper than her couture line, Pamella still contains high quality clothing made right in NYC. The chic event featured a Q&A where Pamella talked about her inspirations for the line. “While youthful, this collection is sophisticated and attainable. These pieces can be worn for years to come and will not lose their appeal because they are well made and have a classic elegance. We cut and produce everything in New York, which is rare and helps us stand apart.” I got the chance to meet Nigel Barker and Pamella Roland. I congratulated Pamella on her new line. She is a really sweet person. As every classy event should, wine, champagne & delicious hors d'oeuvres were passed around. Pamella gave her event a little twist by giving the first 15 fashionistas that bought from Pamella's spring 2014 collection got a special invite to her next show at MBFW. Providence, RI Bag: Kent Stetson Coat: BCBG <similar> Shirt: Forever21 <similar> Skirt: H&M <similar> I am a city girl at heart, always have always will be. Being an extrovert, I feed off of the energy that people exude. The city is refreshing with new people everywhere and always something to discover. Although my early childhood was full of travel, I ended up in Rhode Island. I lived in the suburban and countryside but would consistently be visiting the city of Providence. Providence is an artistic city with world famous RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) located on the "east side" of downtown Providence. Hipsters and college students flood the streets. While living in Rhode Island my Saturday afternoons were spent on the east side with a Starbucks cup in hand, reviewing art or visiting consignment shops. As a child I would always be creating and my family encouraged the importance of art. In 2009, I became apart of the first graduating class of JMW high school (Jacqueline M. Walsh School of Performing and Visual Arts) majoring in fine arts. During my time at JMW was allotted the opportunity to attend figure drawing classes at RISD. Shortly after I entered into the Congressional Art Competition, a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district. I won with my acrylic painting of Historic Slater Mill (located in Pawtucket), was is the first textile mill in the USA. The world is my canvas and I want to color it all.
What inspires you? xXx Liz |
