So I have officially been a homeowner for a little over a year now!
I celebrated my 1 year housiversary party with close friends, bbq, & lawn games.
Being a homeowner is a lot of work, but very rewarding.
I redesigned my backyard by adding flowers and plants around the perimeter in front of the fence.
I also made a "secret" garden next to my shed where an old tree stump was formerly an eyesore.
I lined the grass with big stones and mixed in some I found by the ocean.
This created a clear divide between my plants and the grass.
I spent a lot of time in my yard every weekend and some week nights.
The "secret" garden is filled with flowers that my friends gifted me with a rock and quote next to it.
I also extended my herb garden into a vegetable garden by the help of my boyfriend
which includes tomatoes, eggplant, snap peas, lettuce, and broccoli.
We also planted 3 trees to fix up the right side of the yard.
