How time flies! If you saw my 2016 recap, you'll notice how busy my year was.
About one year ago I was inside the buildings of Conde Nast, Hearst, and Times Inc. for deskside meetings with editors.
These three buildings house top fashion magazines including Cosmopolitan, Glamour, and Nylon.
I along with my many other titles, am the Public Relations Manager for Kent Stetson Handbags.
This means I am responsible for getting our bags into the hands of celebrities, in magazines and on TV shows.
Deskside meetings are for editors to see the products in person you have been discussing over email.
Surprisingly the meetings are under 3 minutes. All the hard work is worth it when you see results.
Some may think my job is glamorous with all the events I attend and although it is, it is also a lot of work.
Although the events are fun, most of the time I am researching contacts and sending emails.
My biggest TV & celebrity project was getting us onto the Real Housewives of Atlanta with Phaedra Parks.
Magazine wise my biggest project was getting us onto the cover of Gazelle STL Magazine.
I love being a publicist for Kent Stetson. Right now I am getting ready for NYFW.
I am currently sending bags to some key players in the industry to wear during
NY Mens Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week.
So excited to see what goals I hit in 2017! Thanks for following my journey!
