Once arriving at Saks Fifth Avenue in Boston we were greeted by Chloe Wine Collection glasses of champagne when entering the perfume department. The Holiday Delights perfume event showcased fragrance designers from all over the world. We were offering the opportunity to select complimentary fragrances and have them filled on site. We learned that a lot of the luxurious perfumes are oil based instead of alcohol based. This makes the scents last longer. Before leaving we received swag bags filled with goodies including a Saks candle, notebook, champagne, fragrance samples, beauty samples and more. If you are still Christmas shopping I recommend stopping by the Saks fragrance department. Below are a list of our favorite scents...

Bond uses oil instead of alcohol as a base which is why their scents last longer than other perfumes. This is true to all expensive fragrances.
