On the Wednesday evening before StyleWeek I got glammed up at St. Germain Studio.
I walked down the cobblestone pathway to the chic purple salon, adorned in vines.
I was greeted by the owner, Tom St. Germain, with a lovely glass of red wine (my favorite).
When you have an appointment here, you at treated like gold. You are greeted with complimentary tea, coffee, wine, and even beer!
While I was getting my hair blown out, I learned about the products that were being
used to make my hair soft and fresh for a week of events. Tom uses high quality products in his salon.
Kevin Murphy and Eleven are both cruelty-free, Australian based hair products.
We used the Eleven "I Want Body" Volume Foam in the crown of my hair.
We then used the Eleven "Miracle Hair Treatment" to smooth the hair and make the ends very soft.
The look was finished with Kevin Murphy's "Bedroom Hair" texturizing hair spray.
Tom has been styling hair for 16 years and opened his own salon St. Germain Studio a little over a year ago.
His inspiration for styling hair stemmed from childhood when he and his neighbor played with their mother's hair for fun.
After spending a few years in retail and reconnecting with his childhood friend who went into the hair industry,
he decided to pursue his passion. Tom takes pride in styling hair for someone's special night out.
