| The best romantic date night in Rhode Island is Spain Restaurant in Cranston. Spain restaurant has two locations, Cranston and Narragansett but our favorite location is Cranston. The restaurant is beautiful with Spanish architecture, balconies, a waterfall, and huge paintings. The food and drinks at Spain are to die for and it is not too expensive. We start off with a large pitcher of sangria. Their sangria is the best in the state, and we try sangria everywhere we go. We then split an appetizer. Our favorite is the Clams Salsa Verde which is in a garlic & parsley white wine sauce. For an entree I always order the Veal Madrid. It is veal cutlets in a light egg batter, sautéed with a white wine and citrus sauce. John usually orders off the specials which are always delicious! After dinner we order dessert. My favorite is their Crème Brulee which is homemade crème made with Madagascar vanilla beans served with a melted sugar topping. Their cheesecake is also amazing. Better than a dessert menu, Spain visually appeals it's guests by bringing out a carte of desserts. With our dessert we love to drink espressos. Spain is our all time favorite RI restaurant that we go to for our special date nights and anniversaries. |
