StyleWeek is a biannual, week long fashion event bringing together the local fashion community at an upscale venue. StyleWeek is featured at the Biltmore in downtown Providence. Prior to the runway shows, fashionistas shop around at the accessory showcase prior to the runway shows. StyleWeek has been a strong and consistent platform to showcase local talent and emerging designers to buyers, press and fashionistas.
I was inspired by Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City 2 movie. She wore a solid to patterned Emilio Pucci dress with strap heels and a moon shaped necklace. My dress was by Arden B., chalcopyrite bag by Kent Stetson, shoes by Sigerson Morrison, and necklace from Natural Glo.
I decided that my favorite color to wear is burnt orange so why not wear it open in night of Styleweek with the classic splash Kent Stetson bag. I usually wear print dresses but I also enjoy wearing sophisticated solids with an extreme pop of excitement in an accessory like a bag or pair of shoes.
Esmeralda Lambert features all handwoven jewelry pieces created by artisans in the Dominican Republic. A lot of her inspiration stems from Carribean and latin influences. After having a cancer preventative surgery Crystal G. Pavlides was inspired to start her own accessories company. Each pearl piece, flower earring, and hair accessory is handmade and set to an affordable price. Small floral earrings can be purchased for only $10! Throughout the week I have purchased three of her beautiful pieces including floral earrings and hairpieces. The earrings were inspired by Crystal’s six year old son. He wanted her to carry something beautiful and inexpensive for children to be able to purchase as gifts for loved ones. Be sure to check her out at the 4th Annual Neighbor Days Block Party on Saturday September 13th! I know I will be there!

Touchstone Crystal Swarovski Group Jewelry
Touch Stone Jewelry is a direct selling company of Swarovski crystals. Pieces range from $26 to $299 with 50 percent of the jewelry priced under $50. Why is this jewelry so afforable especially when containing Swarovski Crystals? Swarovski wanted to start a direct selling market that caters to the everyday woman. The reason for their comfortable prices are stemmed from the different plating process of the stones. I spoke with two women from the marketing team and they have pride in working for a company where women support women. Schedule a consultation party or view their website to purchase these beautiful crystal stones at affordable prices. To learn more about hosting a party or purchasing jewelry contact Danielle Fox, Michaela Morgan or Bonnie Flynn. firstname.lastname@example.org email@example.com firstname.lastname@example.org
