By: Elizabeth McLaughlin & Kaleigh Guay Saturday at NYFW was a ton of fun. I attended the shows with my fashion bestie Kaleigh Guay from Eccentric Ego. We attended three shows at Gotham Hall for Style Fashion Week. Raleigh & I both rocked chain reaction Kent Stetson Handbags. Top: Emilio Pucci // Skirt: Emilio Pucci // Bag: Kent Stetson Chain Reaction // Shoes: Christian Louboutin Casanovella T H E . A R T I S T During Style Fashion Week, Danish artist Per Hillo displayed his latest work. Guests mingled in between shows while viewing Per Hillo's work. "His way of viewing life, art isn´t just art but reaches far beyond. It all comes down to communication and the way we interact. He once said: “I would like to discuss the meaning of life quality – then later we can discuss art” As artist one must characterize him as expressionistic. He expresses his emotions. New Romantic is his own term to describe his genre, which more than indicates that he goes by the emotional. Art must touch its recipient. Art must involve the spectator". My favorite painting is the blue and gold called Colours of Love. T H E . S H O W S Designer Christina Berezhneva is a Russian designer best known for her unique and sexy clothing. Her latest collection, Fantasy, was showcased at Style Fashion Week. "Graceful lines and faultless silhouette form the basis of the unique, sexual dresses absolutely unlike others. This results from the fact that Christina - only who fully specializes on the newest direction of haute couture - so-called 'Corrections of a body a dress'. " Christina used a combination of mesh, slits and accents of leather to create powerful and sexy looks. My favorite dress from her SS16 collection was the black sheer dress with leather appliqué accents. Who doesn't love dressing up their little loved one? Designer Anthony Rubio born in New York is known as the Master Pet Couturier. "His creations are strictly Couture and are considered collectible art inspired by anything from movies to fairy tales and especially by the best women’s wear couturiers of Europe. His masterpieces are born from an almost maniacal obsession to achieve perfection stemming from hours of sketching to innovating shapes and forms which are then meticulously executed and finished only when Mr. Rubio is completely satisfied with the final product." My favorite look is the black and gold dress. Being a former contestant of RuPaul’s Drag Race you can expect Marco Marco’s designs are anything but something for a polo wearing prep. Marco Marco opens with a theatrical ballet performance and then; strikes up all the attention with riskay male underwear and female lingerie. Neon colors and sequins illuminate the runway. Our favorite look is a sequin covered bolero jacket with a black sequin nipple cover. This look is paired with a black high waisted sheer skirt over a yellow neon leotard bottom. Marco Marco’s collection had futuristic colors, sexy silhouettes and jaw dropping models who aren’t afraid to show what they got.
