One can make a difference.
In the past I've made eco-chic designs to promote green awareness. My first eco-chic collection with candy wrappers and duct tape was called Candy Kissed. My next collection, Trilogy of the Queens contained painted cereal boxes, paper towel rolls, and playing cards.
For a recent project I created an eco-chic line, handbook, and website called Think Ecology. For my eco-chic line, I created clothing out of fabrics around the house that was no longer being utilized. I created a flared and open back dress out of baroque style curtains, skirts out of tropical scarfs, a strapless shirt out of an old work uniform, a shirt out of a bag, and a dress out of a piano throw blanket.
